Job Summary
Lead Preschool Teacher responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for 1-year-old babies and preschoolers, implementing the LEAP curriculum, building relationships with families and colleagues, and communicating children's progress to parents via mobile apps and discussions. Requires 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a childcare facility (3-4 years preferred for babies), CPR/first aid certification, ability to meet licensing requirements, and credentials such as CDA or an associated degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or acceptable alternatives). Required Qualifications
- CPR and first aid certification
- Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirement
- CDA Credential from the Council for Professional Recognition
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or equivalent such as Technical Certificate/Diploma in ECE)
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related)
- 25 quarter hours or 15 semester hours in ECE/Child Development may be accepted
