Lead Preschool Teacher

Plan and execute developmentally appropriate programs for assigned classes while maintaining constant supervision of children inside classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, buses, and during offsite trips. Send daily classroom updates to parents via email and promptly inform the Director of all parent messages, complaints, concerns, accidents, illnesses, and other classroom incidents. Maintain professional relationships with parents and staff, ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Attend staff meetings to contribute to team knowledge and collaborate with teachers on assigned duties. Adhere to the JCYS Employee Handbook and all agency policies. This role supports early childhood education and camp programs for diverse children across Chicagoland, fostering a warm, caring, and respectful environment within the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood Center.
