Job Summary
Observe each child closely to support their physical, intellectual, and emotional development while preparing and maintaining a Montessori classroom that fosters concentration and independence. Provide individualized and small-group lessons in practical life, literacy, math, and beyond, encouraging self-confidence as children learn to do it themselves. Build strong relationships with children and families by communicating and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth, leading the classroom with warmth, professionalism, and purpose. This role requires a Montessori diploma for ages 3–6, ECE credits, and a Bachelor's degree, with a salary of $40,000–$50,000.
Required Qualifications
- Montessori diploma for ages 3–6, or willingness to obtain certification (fully sponsored)
- Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a group learning environment
- Alignment with child-led philosophies such as Montessori or Reggio Emilia
- Required ECE or Child Development credits
- Bachelor's degree in a child related field
