Job Summary
Create a welcoming, engaging classroom environment where children feel confident and curious to learn. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that support social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Observe, assess, and document children's progress while building strong relationships with families through regular communication. Mentor Assistant Teachers and collaborate with center leadership to maintain an organized space meeting Montana licensing requirements. Monday-Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends. Competitive hourly pay with performance bonuses up to $2.00 per hour, plus paid professional development and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or early learning program
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience planning and implementing preschool curriculum
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
- Positive and collaborative leadership style
- Passion for working with preschool-aged children
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to complete all required Montana licensing, training, and background check requirements
