Job Summary
Lead and inspire your classroom with creativity, care, and excellence while mentoring assistant teachers and modeling core values such as Children First and Innovation. Build meaningful relationships with families and children by planning engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity. Maintain safety, compliance, and a joyful classroom environment throughout the day. Requires a Lead Teacher/ECT qualification, CDA or Associate's degree, and 2+ years of early childhood education experience. Starting pay is $19.50 – $24.15 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health insurance and childcare tuition discounts. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Lead Teacher/ECT qualification under Colorado Department of Early Childhood requirements
- CDA or Associate's degree
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks
- Active engagement throughout the day including standing, sitting on the floor, bending, and lifting up to ~60 lbs
- Ability to fulfill cognitive and interpersonal aspects of a classroom leadership including speaking, hearing, reading, writing, focusing attention, and building relationships
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree
- 2+ years of early childhood education experience
- Lead or co-lead experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire
