Job Summary
Lead Design & Development, sizing, simulation, testing, and validation of LV/MV VSD/VFDs. Drive and filter sizing, product hardware design, loss budget calculation, earth and protection circuits, and arc flash calculations. Design systems to meet reliability, testing standards, manufacturability, material, and cost guidelines while preparing design documents including configurations, principles of operation, specifications, BOM, SLD, and drawings. Verify functional performance of prototype hardware under all specified operating conditions and document functional test requirements for FATs per UL/IEC standards. Coordinate with System Engineers and program managers on continuous execution. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of expertise required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Power Electronics or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
- Min. 10+ years of Power electronics design & testing expertise for Industrial drives
- May require travel as required
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience/knowledge in Electrical design / Simulation tools like AUTOCAD / E-Plan and MATLAB/Simulink
- In-depth knowledge of Motors /Drive control Systems
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Mentor & Guide team
- Self-Starter, demonstrate ability to work effectively within and between teams and as Individual
