Lead Positive Behaviour Practitioner

Lead Positive Behaviour Practitioner responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing Behaviour Support Plans using evidenced-based strategies; provide formal and informal supervision, secondary consultation, and support to other practitioners; assist in recruitment, onboarding, induction, and ongoing support of Practitioners; promote and market the services to grow the Behaviour Support team; engage with stakeholders through network meetings and service visits; provide training, debriefing and reflective practice to team members; contribute to high-quality Behaviour Support services by supervising others and developing Behaviour Support Plans; support intake and allocation of new referrals; develop goal-oriented, practical, and person-centred interventions; conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments to understand underlying causes; lodge Behaviour Support Plans with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and state systems; improve quality of life and minimise risk for individuals with behaviours of concern; work towards eliminating restrictive practices; provide training and support to participants and their networks; safeguard dignity and quality of life; collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team; receive supervision and professional development planning aligned to the Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
