Job Summary
Lead PMS Engineer role at ABB based in Singapore (hybrid work model). Lead technical activities for automation and power management systems in offshore projects, supervise cross-discipline teams, review RFQ documents, interpret IEC 61850-based PMS, design and implement networks for PMS using industrial protocols, and support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at yards and offshore sites. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering, hands-on automation experience in Oil & Gas or power industries, familiarity with IEC 61850 editions, cybersecurity concepts, and ABB 800xA experience (control builder, PMS library, OPC UA). Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; work rights in Singapore are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with a major in Electrical or Electronics
- Proven hands-on experience in Automation projects across Oil & Gas or power industries
- Familiarity with multiple IEC 61850 editions and cross-integration techniques
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and their implementation
- Experience with ABB 800xA with control builder, PMS library and OPC UA will be an added advantage
- Self-motivated individual with good communication skills
