Job Summary
The Lead Plumbing Technician will oversee residential plumbing projects, leading the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems while ensuring high-quality workmanship and an exceptional customer experience. Primary responsibilities include water heater replacements, water filtration and treatment systems, and other residential plumbing upgrades. The technician will diagnose complex plumbing issues, communicate clearly with homeowners, and perform routine inspections to maximize system performance. Candidates should possess over 5 years of plumbing experience, strong expertise in various plumbing solutions, and the ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential plumbing experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong expertise in water heaters, filtration systems, and water treatment solutions
- Proven ability to train and mentor others in a field environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Advanced knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Physically capable of working in confined or challenging conditions
- Skilled in pipe fitting, cutting, threading, and welding using manual and power tools
Desired Qualifications
- Willingness to pursue continued education or certifications (e.g., State Plumbing License, Journeyman Certification, EPA Certification, Water Treatment Certification)
- OSHA and CPR certifications preferred
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Office, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, or similar platforms
