Job Summary
Conduct daily infrastructure and platform management on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable environments for production, staging, and test. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, manage releases, and coordinate production activities with product teams. Lead the platform team by coaching developers on cloud best practices, defining architectural decisions, and driving continuous improvement in reliability and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Platform / Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer experience
- Lead role experience or readiness to take responsibility for a platform and support team progression
- Solid experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Scripting ability (Bash, Python, or equivalent)
- Good understanding of databases (reliability, performance, backup, restoration)
- Advanced experience in CI/CD, continuous deployment, and release management
- Experience working with GitHub
- Experience in a SaaS B2B production environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Long-term vision and anticipation capability
- Autonomy and decision-making ability
- Clear, pedagogical, and collaborative communication
- Culture of simplicity, robustness, and doing work well
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
