Lead Platform Engineer

Lead complex initiatives and provide advanced technical support for Mastercard's operations environment, resolving escalations related to large multi-site, multi-vendor network environments. Collaborate with design engineering to implement complex network design solutions encompassing end-to-end data centre infrastructure, firewalls, switching, and routing that scale for strategic growth. Maintain a working knowledge of MasterCard core applications to ensure smooth operation within existing network architecture or provide new architectures as required, including troubleshooting application impact. Carry out changes within the operations environment, coordinate project efforts, and define service level objectives with customer and service delivery teams. Mentor junior staff by providing training to develop technical skills across the team. This role supports a 24 by 7 global network operations in a hybrid, shift-based environment including nights, weekends, and holidays.
