Lead Platform Engineer - Chile

Lead Platform Engineer responsible for leading the design and implementation of enterprise-scale hosting platforms, cloud and infrastructure engineering, DevOps adoption, automation, and collaboration with client leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities include driving technical roadmaps, shaping Thoughtworks’ cloud/infrastructure practice, building controls for continuous delivery, leading monitoring and ensuring delivery expectations are met, and guiding DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure strategies across client sites. The role emphasizes collaboration with business development, marketing, capabilities teams, and senior IT executives; a strong focus on automation, IaC, distributed systems, security considerations, and adaptive, client-facing leadership.
