Job Summary

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Cottonwood RNG facility, supervising two operators to maximize production and minimize downtime while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance. Manage startup activities with the construction team, coordinate maintenance tasks, and schedule outage events. Operate and monitor critical equipment including blowers, gas pretreatment, and compression units, while performing repairs, oil changes, and valve adjustments. Monitor production data, equipment hours, and service schedules daily; check flow meters, pressure, and temperature readings to correct conditions before failure. Maintain plant inventory, manage third-party vendor services, and respond to callouts with 24/7 availability during rolling schedules. Work 40-50 hours per week, including night shifts and weekends, reporting directly to the Area Manager.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Renewable gas production industry experience
Must be skilled in recordkeeping and logging
General troubleshooting abilities
Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Must possess good mechanical skills with mechanical/basic electrical knowledge/troubleshooting experience
Must be self-motivated and perform most tasks with little or no supervision
Working knowledge of pressure, vacuum, and flow
Experience with pumps, blowers, or air compressors
Heavy equipment operations experience
Must have a current and valid driver's license, without any restrictions
Must be able to lift 10-50 lbs
Must be able to operate an ATV
Must be able to use hand tools
Must be able to type on a computer
Must be able to use hands and arms to operate/examine gas meter, flow meters, hand tools, power tools, bridge and jib cranes and test/diagnostic equipment
