Job Summary
Load, weigh, and package dry ice products into blocks, pellets, and slices based on customer orders while inspecting finished goods for weight, density, and packaging integrity. Operate production machinery and material handling equipment safely, maintain facility cleanliness, and log production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage. Perform these duties from 7am to 7pm in strict adherence to quality control standards. This role supports Airgas, a leading supplier of industrial gases, by ensuring products are created sustainably and delivered safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- One (1) year experience in a production/manufacturing environment
