Job Summary
Lead Plant Associate at WM (formerly Waste Management) leading a single-shift plant operations team to unload waste from incoming vehicles, decontaminate and stage waste for scanning and processing, and supervise lower-level plant workers. Responsibilities include operating the Biotrack system for recordkeeping, loading waste into autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers, decontaminating and reusing tubs, ensuring housekeeping and safety, and providing direction and training to teammates. The role emphasizes safe, productive performance, and does not involve hiring, firing, or performance reviews. Requires standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and other physical duties within an indoor/outdoor plant environment.
