Job Summary
Lead the development, review, and maintenance of baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 across multiple large-scale residential projects in Saudi Arabia. Prepare detailed execution schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and handover activities while monitoring progress against approved baselines. Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis, and schedule risk assessments to prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for deviations. Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and Site teams to ensure schedule alignment and prepare weekly, monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and executive presentations. Review subcontractor schedules to monitor compliance with milestones and support project controls activities including forecasting, earned value analysis, and productivity monitoring. Mentor junior planning engineers and promote best practices across projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 15 years of planning and scheduling experience within EPC, construction, or large engineering projects
- Strong experience using Primavera P6 (mandatory)
- Experience with high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, and delay analysis
- Experience preparing recovery schedules and mitigation plans
- Knowledge of project lifecycle from engineering through construction and handover
- Excellent reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in English
