Job Summary
Execute daily planning, batching, and release of customer orders based on volume, trailer priorities, and service commitments. Create and communicate order summary reports, monitor WMS activity for accuracy, and research vendor or customer issues blocking product allocation. Identify automation interruptions in warehouse flow systems and communicate concerns to operational partners. Support inbound, outbound, inventory, and customer service teams by updating priorities, delays, and exceptions. Verify order accuracy in the WMS and maintain a safe working environment while following corporate safety goals. This role serves as a central coordination point for operational execution, emphasizing system-driven planning and real-time issue resolution rather than direct people leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
- PC skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others' efforts
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school, college coursework, or degree
- Previous Production Control, planning, inventory, WMS, fulfillment, or logistics experience
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify issues, problems, and opportunities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to share clear information across operations, inventory, and customer service functions
- Strong reasoning, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to become highly proficient with WMS platforms such as Korber / HighJump, Softeon, or similar systems
- Comfort working in system-driven operations that may include conveyor, sortation, automation, bots, or other warehouse flow systems
