Job Summary
Execute daily planning, batching, and release of guest orders based on volume, trailer priorities, and service commitments. Create, update, and communicate order summary reports while monitoring WMS activity to support system accuracy. Partner with Inventory Control to research vendor and customer issues preventing product allocation, and monitor automation systems to identify interruptions. Verify order accuracy in the WMS and ensure physical operations align with system activity. Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment by meeting corporate safety goals. Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
- PC skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others' efforts
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school, college coursework, or degree
- Previous Production Control, planning, inventory, WMS, fulfillment, or logistics experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to identify issues, problems, and opportunities
- Strong reasoning, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to become highly proficient with WMS platforms such as Korber / HighJump, Softeon, or similar systems
- Comfort working in system-driven operations that may include conveyor, sortation, automation, bots, or other warehouse flow systems
