Job Summary
Lead Piercer at Mejuri Piercing Studio responsible for overseeing the piercing customer journey, delivering high-quality piercing services with focus on safety, hygiene, and client education; lead by example on service excellence, upsell of piercing services and related offerings (engraving, other services), manage studio operations, inventory and scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a clean, safe studio; collaborate with Store Manager and staff to optimize flow, bookings, and improvements, while building a strong local clientele and promoting Mejuri values.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with needle piercing
- Experience working with threadless jewellery
- OSHA First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens certifications
- Experience using autoclave or statim
- Knowledge of labret sizing, materials, gemstones, and metals
- Understanding of local piercing law requirements
- Strong health and safety knowledge in piercing procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
