Lead Physician Associate (PA) - Urgent Care

Job Summary
Lead PA in an urgent care clinic providing patient-centered care, conducting health assessments and exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, administering injections and sutures, and managing wounds. Acts as a clinical leader and preceptor, mentoring new-grad providers and other staff; ensures accurate medical records and EMR documentation; maintains infection-control policies; collaborates with the care team to plan dispositions; emphasizes education for patients on health, wellness, and therapy options; supports continuous professional development and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) certifying body
- DEA license with no restrictions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor provider staff
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal)
- Technically proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulatory requirements
- Experience providing patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
