Job Summary
Lead PA at an urgent care clinic providing patient-centered care, performing exams, ordering/interpret tests, administering injections and immunizations, managing wounds, and educating patients. Responsibilities include clinical leadership, mentorship of new-grad providers and clinic staff, maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring infection-control compliance, and staying current with relevant laws/regulations (HIPAA/OSHA). Describes a collaborative, mentorship-focused role with a strong emphasis on leadership, mentorship, patient education, and high-quality care in an urgent care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) certifying body
- DEA license with no restrictions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent team player and collaborator
- Proactive and confident communicator
- Technically savvy with EMR and software
Desired Qualifications
