Job Summary
Lead Physician Assistant at ConvenientMD leads the clinical team in an urgent care setting, mentoring new-grad providers and other staff, performing patient assessments, exams, diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures (injections, sutures, wound care), and ensuring compliant documentation and infection-control practices. The role requires a Master’s degree and PA certification, a DEA license without restrictions, and BLS certification, with preferred experience in emergency/urgent care. Strong leadership, teamwork, proactive communication, and technical proficiency with EMR are essential. The position is per diem with an in-person clinic location in Brunswick, Maine.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and PA certification
- DEA license with no restrictions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or Red Cross
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred
- Strong leadership and mentoring ability
- Team player with collaboration
- Proficient with EMR and clinical management systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of pharmacology and patient care procedures
- Ability to educate and counsel patients
- Ability to prepare accurate medical records and documentation
