Job Summary
Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results, review physician referrals and medical records to determine required therapy, and provide direct patient care by established protocols. Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers, while overseeing patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians. Complete written plans of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and implement physical therapy treatment programs. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies, ensuring timely documentation of daily notes, workers' compensation reports, and discharge summaries. Manage a caseload of 9–10 visits per day with autonomy and support from partner owners in the clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Experience in OP setting
- Current state of Kansas license
- CPR certification
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office
- Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM- 5:0PM)

- Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
