Job Summary
Lead Phlebotomist responsible for donor screening and venipuncture in a plasma center, operating plasmapheresis equipment, ensuring donor safety and satisfaction, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring compliance with FDA/SOP/OSHA/CLIA/cGMP. Roles include setting up and operating automated plasmapheresis machines, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining proper cleaning and documentation, protecting donor confidentiality, and cross-training across center operations to support efficient workflows. Requires a high school diploma or GED and related state licensures/certifications where applicable; typically 2+ years of related experience is preferred. May involve handling donor reactions, maintaining equipment calibration, and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
