Job Summary
Monitor pharmacy workflow and reassign technicians as needed while preparing schedules to meet operational demands. Fill prescription items for dispensing and delivery, including non-sterile compounding of emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments. Manage inventory functions, monitor pharmaceutical levels, and identify expired medications. Input patient data and medication orders into computer systems to produce labels, mix and package IV medications, and sanitize equipment. Communicate professionally with internal and external customers while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Work Wednesday through Saturday from 12:30pm to 11:00pm with a $1.00/hr shift differential. Support long-term care and senior living communities behind the scenes.
Required Qualifications
- Washington Pharmacy Technician License
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Experience in an LTC pharmacy setting
- Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system
- Ability to operate a computer
- Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 12:30pm - 11:00pm
- Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm
- Shift Differential: +$1.00/hr
