Job Summary
Coordinate prescription processing and ensure sterile preparations meet clinical needs while managing inventory levels and resolving vendor issues. Analyze operational data to improve efficiency, assist with policy development, and help meet training needs under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist. Develop processes for patient inquiries and prioritize tasks in compliance with state regulations and company standards. Requires a Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least three years of experience. Salary ranges from $30.00 to $50.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Licensed and/or registered (if required by state)
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Able to perform advanced level mathematical calculations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic email skills
- Basic Internet Explorer skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching
- Ability to carry at least 30lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Compounding Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT)
- Previous home health experience
