Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day pharmacy department operations under direct pharmacist supervision, including triaging, processing, and delivering prescriptions to patients. Manage pharmacy inventory, third-party receivables, and claims submissions while ensuring strict adherence to state and federal regulatory compliance. Assist with hiring, training, and development of staff, balancing workloads and assigning tasks to maintain balanced department standards. Execute pharmacy workflow from data entry to customer pickup, maintaining accurate manual records and ensuring all prescriptions are verified before dispensing. Monitor and report quality assurance events, enforce operational policies, and ensure all staff provide quality customer service.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
  • AS Degree or Higher
  • Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Must stay current with all State and Federal requirements as well as corporate goals and initiatives
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs

Desired Qualifications

  • Hospital or retail pharmacy experience
