Lead PET/CT Technologist

Job Summary
Lead PET/CT Technologist to supervise the diagnostic imaging service line, directing staffing and assignments for PET/CT and nuclear medicine technologists, aides, and students. Develop and update policies, procedures and protocols to streamline workflows, enhance radiation safety, ensure timely and accurate imaging, and support patient-centered oncology care. Responsibilities include overseeing workload, assigning duties, reviewing images, mentoring students and new technologists, performing complex PET/CT procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining safe operation of PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment. Requires certification in nuclear medicine (NMT) or ARRT NM/CT (and CRT if applicable), BLS, 5+ years in PET/CT, and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong leadership and regulatory knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist OR ARRT (NM) - Radiography - ARRT (CT) - Radiography (if required at the affiliate) OR CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist (if required at the affiliate)
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- 5+ year of experience in PET/CT
- 2+ year of management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations and safety and quality standards
- Proficient in using imaging equipment and software and PACS
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
