Job Summary
Assure area metrics for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture through 6S audits. Plan, organize, and monitor packaging and shipping of all materials from the WR Assembly building to accurately distribute customer orders. Coordinate department employee activities for preparing and expediting shipments while managing Maestro functionality. Train EO on Maestro systems and handle crucial conversations to solve practical problems in a fast-paced environment. Requires at least two years of shipping experience in high-volume manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work well with others – including the ability to effectively handle crucial conversations in a timely manner
- Self-motivated with initiative to follow through
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, both oral and written
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years' shipping experience in a high-volume manufacturing/production setting preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
