Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections for safety, housekeeping, and mechanical issues across all operation areas while performing standard office duties, plant tasks, and mobile equipment repairs. Establish effective communications within all operational areas and communicate standards of excellence through stated goals, daily interactions, and team meetings. Complete annual performance evaluations, daily production, safety, and maintenance reports, and participate in the plant safety committee. Work with the Sr. Team Coordinator and Production Supervisor to ensure scheduled maintenance and develop mining, profit, and monthly forecast plans. Travel from the quarry to other locations as necessary, with a schedule of 6:30AM to 4:30PM and weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years of experience in the building materials, mining or aggregates industry
- Safety conscious

- Knowledge of safety rules, regulations and procedures of mine and property as set forth by federal, state, and local agencies and policies
- Knowledge of company guidelines and safety standards
- Ability to work closely with the Sr. Team Coordinator and Production Supervisor
- Ability to complete annual performance evaluations on team members
- Ability to participate on plant safety committee
- Ability to work with the Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, and Sr. Team Coordinator
- Ability to develop mining plans
- Ability to develop profit plans
- Ability to develop AFE'S
- Ability to develop monthly forecast
- Ability to complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately
- Ability to maintain plant housekeeping and appearance standards
- Ability to maintain product quality as established by federal, state, and local agencies and policies
- Ability to aid in the training of co-workers
