Job Summary
Configure and maintain Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking systems in Workday, including pay components, accrual rules, and overtime calculations. Design, build, and maintain business process definitions with condition rules, custom validations, and routing logic. Partner with the Payroll team to troubleshoot configuration-driven issues like gross-to-net discrepancies and retro calculations. Support annual People cycles, including compensation reviews and mass supervisory org changes. Perform impact analysis before changes ship and triage day-to-day system issues to root cause. Build advanced reports, dashboards, and EIBs while managing Workday security models and audit compliance. Drive process automation opportunities and translate business requirements into scalable system designs.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Workday Business Systems Analyst
- demonstrated expertise in system configuration, testing, and implementation
- Workday Pro accreditations or Workday partner certifications in HCM, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking
- Exposure to Workday Prism Analytics, Extend, or advanced reporting beyond standard report writer
- Experience applying AI tools to HRIS or People operations work
