Lead, People Solutions (Workday Technical Lead)

Lead, People Solutions (Workday Technical Lead) serves as the technical owner and architect of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Workday platform and People Technology ecosystem. Defines and executes technical strategy, architecture, governance, security model, integration framework, and operational support across Workday and related HR technologies. Acts as primary subject matter expert for Workday Security, Integrations, Data Architecture, and Platform Optimization. Partners with HR, Payroll, Talent, Finance, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and external providers to ensure the People Technology landscape is scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include platform ownership and operational excellence, governance of security and integrations, incident management, driving automation and platform reliability, managing technical debt, and ensuring SOX/GDPR/compliance. Defines architecture roadmap, evaluates requirements, and collaborates with Enterprise Architecture to align strategies with standards. Provides technical oversight for AMS teams and maintains architecture diagrams, integration inventories, and data flow documentation. Requires 10+ years in enterprise technology and 7+ years in Workday technical roles; Bachelor’s degree; preferred Workday certifications in Integration, Security, HCM; experience with middleware and various HR technologies; global/multi-region experience. Base salary range $142,400–$178,000 plus incentives/benefits.
