Job Summary
Shape and influence divisional and enterprise people strategies aligned to business priorities and future capability needs. Act as a trusted thought partner to Divisional Directors and senior leaders on workforce, talent, and investment decisions. Anticipate workforce, leadership, and organisational risks, developing strategies that future-proof business performance. Lead complex organisation design and workforce transformation across multiple business areas. Govern significant organisation and workforce initiatives, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with enterprise principles. Coach and challenge senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, cultural evolution, and organisational health. Act as an escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk people matters. Set the quality standard for people partnering, coaching, and developing People Business Partners to strengthen capability and consistency. Work closely with People Directors, Centres of Excellence, and People Operations to deliver integrated people solutions at scale. Ensure governance, risk, employee experience, and workforce implications are considered within strategic business decisions. Represent the People function in enterprise forums, transformation programmes, and strategic initiatives. Ensure organisational change is embedded sustainably through established people processes and ways of working.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience operating as a Senior People Business Partner or in an equivalent strategic HR leadership role
- A strong track record of leading complex organisation design, workforce transformation and business change
- Experience partnering with Divisional Directors, Executive Leaders or equivalent senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance people investment, organisational risk and business performance
- Deep understanding of people operating models, governance, workforce strategy and organisational effectiveness
- Exceptional influencing, consulting and coaching capability, with the confidence to challenge constructively
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate competing enterprise priorities
- The ability to operate effectively with significant autonomy in complex and ambiguous environments
- Business-level English
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent, or currently working towards it
