Job Summary
Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried team members using ADP and Central Reach systems. Resolve unique payroll cases, review pre-payroll reports for errors, and balance discrepancies. Manage off-cycle checks, conduct audits and imports, and oversee daily and weekly payroll tax administration including filings and record updates. Drive process improvements, analyze transactions for regulatory compliance, and respond to administrative inquiries. Ensure adherence to internal controls and multi-state regulatory requirements while managing ad hoc projects.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree from a college or university
- 3 to 4 years of related experience
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Speak effectively before groups of clients or employees
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Traveling as needed within region/territory
- Have reliable means of transportation
- Meet requirements of our Motor Vehicle policy
- Regularly required to sit
- Use hands to type finger, handle, or feel
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience processing multi-state payroll is preferred
