Job Summary
Develop market access strategy, tactics, and marketing materials for assigned Chiesi Rare Disease brands while managing budgets, forecasts, and payer/coverage data analysis. Collaborate with Brand Marketing, HEOR, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure brand access messages reach customers and lead engagement with creative agency partners for Promotional Review Board approvals. Support the development of US HEOR/RWE strategy across assigned disease areas and serve as the primary resource for cross-functional partners on all US Market Access situations. Monitor spend and manage assigned payer marketing budgets as a steward of company resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry across key functions such as marketing, market access, contracting, commercial operations, and data analytics
- At least 5 years directly within market access or brand marketing
- Good understanding of payer segments (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D & B, etc.), reimbursement, and Specialty Pharmacy data
- Direct experience in supporting Medical Benefit (Buy/Bill)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of Market Access insights
- Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative), strategic thinking, creativity & problem-solving skills
- Self-directed and confident, with ability to contribute to shared commitment and goals to achieve high standards of performance
- Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail. Demonstrated success with project management
- Demonstrated understanding of the current US payer environment and Market Access dynamics required
- History of success in developing market access tactics for use with US payers
- Hybrid position based in Boston, MA office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a Promotional Review Committee (Legal/Medical/Regulatory)
- Experience with VeevaVault or similar
- Experience within Rare Disease
