Lead Patient Driver - PACE

Job Summary
Coordinate routes and schedules for participants arriving at the PACE Center, medical appointments, and approved destinations. Ensure vehicle readiness and compliance while completing required documentation and serving as a resource for drivers during your assigned shift. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to communicate observations regarding participant well-being and safety. Maintain a positive, respectful experience for seniors requiring assistance. Requires a California Class B driver's license, four years of passenger transportation experience, and completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training within 60 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid training (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 60 days of hire
- Driving is a necessary as part of this role
- Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving
- provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request
- California Class B driver's license per California Highway Patrol regulations
- proof of insurance per company policy
- 4 years experience providing passenger transportation and/or supporting transportation operations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience transporting passengers requiring assistance
- Comfort with basic computer applications for documentation and communication
