Job Summary
Lead Patient Care Coordinator role overseeing the Perimeter office with responsibilities spanning patient enrollment and engagement in Upperline’s care program, clinic staffing and daily operations, recruitment and onboarding of non-provider clinical staff, monitoring clinic KPIs (clinical, operational, financial), daily huddles, referral conversion, scheduling adherence for high-risk patients, maintaining clinic culture and patient experience, EMR documentation audits, licensure, and travel to surrounding area clinics as needed. Requires podiatry or orthopedic clinic understanding, strong computer and EMR proficiency, excellent communication, and leadership capabilities to drive clinic success.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Patient Care Coordinator
- Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous experience working in an EMR – preferably athenahealth EMR
- Effective communication with strong grammar and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor with interactions
- Demonstrated experience as a motivated and dedicated team leader with a stable work history
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug test
