Job Summary
Lead and coordinate patient care coordination workflows across scheduling, referrals, authorizations, intake, and follow-up for a high-volume endovascular practice; serve as a primary point of contact for patients, families, referring offices, physicians, advanced practice providers, and internal staff; coordinate consultations, pre- and post-procedure visits, and follow-up to ensure continuity of care; monitor provider schedules and clinic capacity to optimize patient flow, access, and operational efficiency; assist with triaging patient concerns and escalating urgent issues; oversee insurance verification, prior authorizations, referral documentation, and copay collection; support patient education and site-specific procedures; identify workflow bottlenecks and implement improvements; collaborate with leadership to ensure quality, compliance, and excellent customer service; maintain HIPAA compliance and handle sensitive patient information; compose/transcribe letters and reports; perform clerical duties; respond to high call volumes with exceptional customer service; must be fluent in reading/writing/speaking English; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong knowledge of insurance authorization processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology
