Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day patient and outpatient access services, including pre-registration, registration, admissions, and payment collection. Assume responsibility for communication systems and provide guidance to staff within established policies. Resolve considerable difficulties requiring judgment in interpreting policies to guide sensitive, confidential information use. Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality for medical staff and patients. Provide feedback to peers on account errors to ensure deficiencies are remedied while patients are present. Review AETS reports, correct errors, and collaborate with the Quality/Education group to track accuracy and training needs. Interact positively with all departments to resolve issues and maintain working relationships. Follow all organizational and department-defined policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Five years' relevant experience
