Lead high-end residential painting, cabinet finishing, wallpaper, and specialty finish projects across the Chicagoland area, overseeing daily job-site execution from prep to final walkthroughs. Manage crews, train painters, and maintain clean, safe, organized work sites in occupied homes while communicating with homeowners, designers, and project managers. Deliver top-tier interior and exterior finishes with a focus on detail, protection, and presentation, ensuring projects meet premium quality expectations. Complete final walkthroughs and identify issues before callbacks. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional painting experience
- Proven experience leading painters, helpers, or field crews
- Strong background in high-end residential painting, prep, patching, sanding, skim coating, masking, and finish systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Dependable, organized, detail-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of job-site results
- Ability to lead by example and maintain professionalism in occupied homes
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Cabinet refinishing, spray finish, fine trim, high-gloss, or specialty finish experience
- Wallpaper installation experience
- Strong communication skills with homeowners, project managers, designers, and field teams
- Union experience
