Job Summary
Lead Package Handler overseeing offloading, loading, and sorting of packages; trains and guides Package Handlers, enforces safety protocols, and coordinates with Area and Operations Managers to support metrics and company values. Responsibilities include training new hires, overseeing sorting/inspection for accuracy and damage prevention, monitoring equipment and submitting maintenance requests, and verifying driver credentials and manifest accuracy. Location is Stamford, CT with an early-morning shift from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM (Tuesday–Saturday); compensation is hourly with a benefits package including health, retirement, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of industry experience
- 1 year of leadership experience preferred
- Basic English language proficiency
- Ability to lift 25-35 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs occasionally
- 18 years of age or older
