Job Summary
Lead Oracle Database Administrator responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle database systems to support reliability, scalability, and performance. Lead complex database projects, resolve advanced technical issues, implement backup/recovery and disaster recovery strategies, ensure database security and regulatory compliance, mentor junior DBAs, and collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives. Role emphasizes late CET shift (3 p.m.–11 p.m.) with a hybrid model (2 days in office, 3 days remote) and occasional remote work across Poland and international options. Certifications as Oracle Database Administrator and hands-on experience with RAC, Active Data Guard, and performance tuning are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as Oracle Database Administrator
- proven Oracle Database Administration experience
- Experience with RAC, Active Data Guard, and Performance tuning
- Exposure to LANs, WANs, Citrix Metaframe, Microsoft technologies including XP, Server 2003, SQL Server and XML, etc.
- Good communication and organization skills in English
- Analytical and structured work approach
- Ability to work evenings/late shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM CET) and occasional extended hours
- Willingness to work weekends (approx. once per month) and remote options available (Poland/International)
