Job Summary
Coordinate and manage the development of supplier-owned test equipment to align with unit under test requirements while collaborating with internal teams to integrate internally developed test equipment software. Liaise with IPT engineering resources to ensure cohesive development and delivery strategies, ensuring test equipment meets program technical standards and quality requirements. Track and resolve interface issues between various test equipment and systems, providing technical leadership and guidance on integration challenges. Facilitate communication and coordination between suppliers, internal engineering teams, and IPT members. This 1st shift position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and is located in Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Proven experience (5+) years in design and development of test equipment
- Proven system engineering experience including architecture and interface development and definition and requirement derivation
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power electronics, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and safety
- Security clearance or the ability to obtain one
- 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience)
- 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience)
- ABET accreditation
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with System Link
- Familiarity with National Instruments (NI) built test equipment
