Lead the optical lab team in cutting, edging, and creating prescription lenses while adhering to hourly deadlines. Correctly read and interpret prescription specifications to ensure lenses are cut properly, and maintain the lab area and equipment in a safe, organized manner. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on lab equipment as scheduled and execute multiple concurrent tasks across different stations to maintain job flow. Fill out all assigned reporting forms timely and establish effective working relationships with fellow employees. Assist in moving heavy lab equipment when necessary.
