Job Summary
Lead Operator responsible for hands-on production leadership, operating and supporting manufacturing/assembly processes, and coordinating day-to-day workflow for operators. Focused on patient safety and product quality, roles include ensuring compliance with GMP/cGMP, SOPs, and work instructions; setting shift priorities; coordinating staffing and assignments; performing assembly/build/packaging tasks with attention to detail and documentation; managing material flow and schedule adherence; equipment setup and troubleshooting; providing clear shift communications; training and coaching teammates; driving continuous improvement (Lean/5S) and completing audits and manufacturing reports. Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain is required, along with maintaining 5S and cleanroom/controlled-area standards. On-site manufacturing role with a base hourly compensation in the range of $27.40–$41.11, translated to annualized salaries of approximately $56,992 to $85,509, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience (regulated manufacturing such as medical device preferred)
