Job Summary
Direct daily work activities of production personnel, including housekeeping, safety compliance, and maintaining production efficiencies. Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems, perform repairs, and execute tooling changeovers to minimize downtime. Complete shift production and reporting paperwork while meeting ADS and AASHTO quality specifications. Assist with the preventive maintenance program, operate forklifts, and adhere to product sampling schedules. Report unsafe conditions immediately to the Production Supervisor. Requires flexibility for 40+ hours per week, weekends, and varying shifts due to equipment changeovers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience as ADS Line Operator or previous manufacturing operation or extrusion experience
- Ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds to a height of 6 feet
- Ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8-12 continuous hours
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremes
- Ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods
- Ability to operate heavy machinery, i.e. forklifts, in a safe manner
- Basic computer skills
- Reading and Writing skills
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated
- Leadership, professionalism, organizational and communication skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week
- Must be available for weekends

- Must be able to communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production Supervisor

- Must be able to perform repairs and adjustments
- Must be able to maintain ability to operate various production lines and processes effectively
