Job Summary
Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to assign duties, then establish procedures to meet production schedules. Produce labor budgets, estimates, and daily production schedules while supervising loading, unloading, marking floors, setting up service areas, and hanging signs. Dispatch all work, estimate and inspect materials, and maintain an orderly boneyard. Ensure equipment is returned to the warehouse, tag damaged items for repair, and maintain acceptable job costs. Plan standby labor, maintain time and production records, and communicate with the Account Executive and Service Desk. Follow all safety policies, complete required training, report hazards immediately, and use tools and protective gear properly. This part-time, as-needed role supports the Event & Exhibit Services team in Boston, MA, with up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of trade show, warehouse operations and/or related experience
- Understanding with: Office software applications including but not limited to email, Microsoft Word, Excel, TSS and Concierge Elite
- Must have ability to complete online reports, printing, posting, running inquiries and data entry
- Produce trade shows on the 1000 – 1500 booth level
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and applicable OSHA requirements
- Ability to consistently follow safety rules and contribute to a positive safety culture
- Travel up to 25%
