Lead Operations Finance Business Partner

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive financial support and strategic insights to operational business groups and project management teams, acting as a key financial partner to help leaders manage projects and profit centers effectively. Supervise and mentor direct report(s) while leading and supporting budget and forecast processes for supported operational groups. Deliver detailed financial analysis on project profitability, customer analysis, and overall performance, interpreting complex data to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for decision-making. Monitor project cash flow, including over/under billing and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and drive ongoing improvement in financial processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and tax departments to resolve unique issues and perform ad hoc analysis as required. Typical work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential flexibility to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance or corporate accounting
- A minimum of 3 years in a direct operations or project-focused environment
- Experience with corporate accounting systems
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-finance professionals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be available for work at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
