Job Summary
Lead sourcing activities in assigned commodities by negotiating pricing, payment terms, and lead times with suppliers while driving cost reduction and supply chain efficiency. Manage supplier performance, develop new sourcing opportunities, and coordinate qualification projects with Engineering and European HQ to ensure continuity. Monitor market intelligence, evaluate supplier readiness for new projects, and escalate critical risks as needed. Maintain alignment with European sourcing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Good understanding of sourcing processes and quality requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Responsible, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in automotive or a similar environment
- ERP/MRP system knowledge
