Job Summary
Lead Nurse - LPN administers methadone as prescribed, evaluates and assesses patients for treatment appropriateness, observes post-administration, follows physician orders, maintains dosing records and medication inventory, coordinates with counselors, trains new nurses, implements quality health standards, ensures regulatory compliance, and participates in team meetings while maintaining patient care and safety across the treatment center.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of employment
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred experience in chemical addiction
- Accurate data entry skills and basic computing knowledge
- Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuge, physical assessment tools, test strips, breathalyzers, and other medical equipment
- Basic knowledge and skill in using standard office equipment
